Simran is a PhD candidate in Folklore with three years of university teaching and 450+ students taught. The Voice Craft Institute came out of watching capable students lose opportunities for reasons that had nothing to do with what they knew.
Thinking clearly out loud
The work is not accent, not fluency drills, not confidence slogans. It is the habit of making your thinking easy for someone else to follow while they are judging you.
Small cohorts, deliberately
Eight students. Everyone speaks in every session, everyone is recorded, everyone gets written feedback. It does not scale, and that is the point.
Three years inside university evaluation
Sitting on panels and marking presentations is where the patterns came from — what actually loses marks, as opposed to what people assume loses marks.
In person, in Dwarka
Panels are a physical experience. The training happens in a room, with people watching, because that is the condition being rehearsed.
